My daughter’s 2016 JKU’s factory alarm randomly went off and I could not get it to go off. Lock/unlock on the remote, started the jeep (started right up), alarm still blaring (neighbors must love it). I needed to disconnect the battery to stop it.. as soon as I connect the battery, the alarm sounds again. Any ideas? I removed both remote batteries to make sure it was not a stuck panic button..

any thoughts are appreciated. I tried searching around but didn’t find many conclusions.

 

I pulled the horn fuses so I can work on this thing and not blow my eardrums out..

 

Well, this is happening again randomly when my daughter was off of college. The alarm will go off continuously until the battery dies. I had her remove the horn fuse so at least it’s not driving people crazy.
The alarm going off is random and when it does goes off, it continuously runs until it kills the battery.. any ideas? What might be going on here?
It’s hard to diagnose when it’s random..
