Default Alignment

So I got an alignment yesterday because after doing some offroading, my steering wheel was crooked.

Cost me 68 bucks, what a rip...Is this going to happen everytime I go offroad? Should it knock out that easy???

By the way, the dealership in Vancouver sucks ass, they're horrible.

There's only one dealership in Vancouver?
Haven't received my JK yet, so I can't comment on how easy the wheel alignment is to misalign.

If all that is wrong is your steering wheel is not centered...do it yourself. When I got mine back from having the lift put on, it was off a little and I am anal about things being lined up, so I adjusted it myself. If it was toe in/out problems, that is a different story.

I agree with this. Also, you can do a pretty decent job of measuring toe in/toe out with a tape measure. I've owned 9 Jeeps over the past 18 years and have NEVER had an alignment done. The suspension on these things ain't rocket surgery.

The toe doesn't just get "knocked out". Something had to give for it to go out. There aren't any shims here , everything is bolted tight. You had to bend the tie rod.

I doubt he bent anything. Mine is a little off too and all I did was get stuck in 2.5 ft of mud......hmm then again, when I drive w/ the top down, it feels as if it's not as stable...???

I completely agree with IGOFSHN. Either something came loose or something is now bent. If your toe-in was off, your tie rod is most likely bent or a TRE is loose or damaged. If your steering was off, the effected area is most likely your drag link or maybe even one of your control arms is slightly bent. In my experience, things don't just get "knocked out" and you might want to consider giving everything a closer look.

if something was bent, wouldn't the alignment be "un-doable"...

the alignment is bang on now so whatever they did fixed it...
