use a 9.8 or better bolt. All metric bolts have the strength value on the head. A good rule of thumb for a shadetree torque value is break an ajacent bolt loose and duplicate the ''feel'' when reinstalling. 20 ft pounds is not much....

[QUOTE=jwhitehorn;2172349]Any idea if there was a legit reason they even mess with those bolts? All the more reason to rob one off the bottom....

The ones I picked up say 10.9 (or maybe it was 10.8)... I assume higher is better

Luckily I do have a torque wrench that goes from 0 to 150, so I should be good for the torque. And I did buy blue loctite today.

Tonight I am going to install my new bolt.

If you want to remove in the future use blue. Red is almost permanent.

One new bolt installed!

I noticed the remaining bolts were torques to 40 ft/lbs... So I just did the same.

P.S. I am posting this from my iPhone while still under my Jeep
