Default am radio on sirius stock

I just swapped the stock radio without sirius for the stock radio with sirius and lost my am reception.

The satellite is working fine, fm is okay and the cd player is working as well, but it is like there is no am antena now.

Any ideas on why?

Thanks...

I would agree but Windy City didn't say he/she "had the radio swapped". They said they swapped which wouldn't be a dealer's responsability to take care of alterations or mods we do.

I'm sure if WC did the swap him/herself that the dealer would be happy to work on it as would any automotive sound store. It shouldn't be a big deal unless the person who lent/sold/gave the new radio to WC did so because it was defective.

I (he) did the swap out myself, bought the radio on ebay from a dealer in Texas. didn't think it was all that difficult plugging in the old harness and the sirius sattelite antenna.

I'm sure the dealer or a mobile audio store would be happy to fix it for me... at what ever their hourly rate is...

Thank you.

No idea why it wouldnt work, I would assume its the same antenna as FM.. Good luck, maybe call the dealer you got it from, maybe they can swap it for another unit.
