Amsoil in transfer case. What are you using?
I am changing over to Amsoil fluids in my JK. I've got it all figured out except for the transfer case. I see in WOL write up that I should run ATF+4 auto trans fluid in the transfer case, But I read that a forum member was using GL-4 manual trans fluid in their transfer case. Which should I be using?
You'll want to run the "ATFQT-EA." The book says 4.2 pints, but I recommend just getting 3 quarts (which is 6 pints) so you'll have some extra.
I also recommend getting the hand pump G2039-EA (around $11.00) or something equivalent. It makes the xfer case and differentials a lot easier to fill. Clean it out with brake cleaner when you're done.

The shop manual and owner's manual recommends ATF+4 fluid (Amsoil ATFQT-EA)
4.2 pints is for a dry fill. I could only get 2 quarts in before it oozed out of the fill hole but I bought 3 quarts just in case.
You definitly need the bottle pump for the trans and t-case.
