annoying role bar noise
im sure most jks do this, at least the one i have drove. the annoying popping and creaking from behind the seat belt on the driver and passenger side . any time i hit a good bump in the road it makes the noise. has anyone fixed this yet, thanks.
So its a "pop or creak" and not a rattle? There is a very annoying rattle in the B pillar that when I first heard it I thought it was up high by the roll bar. As it turns out this sound was just being amplified that direction.
If it is a rattle it could be the door latch problem, which you can search for. There are multiple "fixes", one involving electrical tape on the door catch, etc...
The lube that the dealer applied to mine has still been working well.

The only annoying noise my roll bar makes is a chattering/rattle right above my head. But I know that that is from a 1/2" socket that my two year old somehow stuffed into the hole up top when the roof is off, rattling around
Still not sure how I am going to get it out as it shifted ofer towards the drivers door now and doesn't seem to want to roll back even when I do my Michael Schummacher turns.

I have the same thing and found a thread on here on it to fix it. behind the plastic cover over the seatbelt there is a pinch seam and they said to put those edge guards for doors on the pinch seam . And that will take care of it. I have not applied mine yet but will let you know how it goes.
