Another question from a Jeep newbie - 3.8 or 3.6 and Sport JKU vs Sahara JKU?

Cracks me up when I read about the differences between the 3.8 and 3.6, certainly not night and day, now between a JK and my old 56 Willys, that was night and day. I test drove a 2012, definitely would get rid of my 2010 for it, down low where I need the torque, not hardly any difference between the two, only place I really noticed was passing on the highway, since I drive on the road in a rather sedate manner, didn't matter to me. I average 18.5 in mine, that is a 60/40 split highway to city driving, on long trips, i have had averages of 22mpg, that is freeway at 65-70mph.
