Another squeaking clutch
2011 JKU with 900 miles, 6 speed tranny. Hideous screech whenever the clutch pedal is in motion when warmed up (engaging or disengaging). Dealer spent all day on it, lubed the pedal pivot point, and said it was fixed. Not so, since it began doing the same thing within three blocks of the dealer on the way home.
Checked the heat heat shield / hydraulic line rubbing issue mentioned in other threads. No joy from that. Tried to isolate the source, which seems to be in the clutch housing.
Back to the dealer tomorrow, but seeking guidance from anyone with any insight on this issue.

It's grime on the flywheel have to have it fixed before 20000 km of the stealership tells you to pound it. That is what it was for me.I may be wrong though mine only chirped.

mine chirps... I went beyond the clutch warranty period before attempting to fix and they qouted nearly $900... so I skipped it. I now have 43k miles on it, runs fine and chirps from time to time. It will get fixed when the clutch really needs to be replaced.

Dealer actually seems to have found and fixed the problem by disassembling the slave cylinder and lubricating the clutch fork. Drove 200 miles with it today with no screeching cat noises.

I should look into greasing the pivot(s) too.
FWIW, my '07 is sneaking up on 97,000 miles, and it chirps unless I'm real smooth with my shifts and throttle inputs. Which I'm not. It has always done it. I've always figured it was the friction disks springs - some bushing within that mechanism.
