Just ensure that whatever you get is one hundred percent compatible with Chrysler products. Most antifreeze out there is NOT. If you don't believe what I've just written, do some research. It is completely correct, and using the wrong anti-freeze will cause significant degradation of cooling performance, as well as corrosion and early parts failure. Honest.

Now, what were you saying about protection of your warranty at five years?

Mark D.,

You have an '07, correct?

Does your '07 have a radiator cap like the pics of the '08 I posted on page 2?

Well, You have me questioning myself now. I may be getting confused with my wife's car. I am getting ready for cold weather on both. But I'm pretty sure that what I have said has been correct.

I have the Lifetime Power Train Warranty. I'm trying to maintain the service schedual and keep my cost's down by DIY.

Correct HOAT Antifreeze. I use Xerox G05. Napa carries it.

This one shows the cap off and the coolant up to that level.
I also have an '07 2 door Rubicon and it looks exactly like this. I am pretty sure they all look the same. I think you might be getting the two cars confused JK-Ford

My question was rhetorical. I meant for you to understand that if you select the wrong antifreeze, which is easy to do, you place your lifetime warranty at greater risk than if you wait until 102K miles to change the antifreeze.

Default The modern Engine

Radiator water flow

The new GM engines cools the heads first (To comply with feds regs on emissions) They do this to make a hotter combustion to meet the regs) water thru the heads first then down thru the block and back to the radiator, My MH 6.0 is this way, and it works great, I tow thru the desert when its 110 + out and have had no problems with cooling, when the AC and everything is on.

I wonder if our little JK 3.8 is this way ?

On the JK, the water appears to enter the block at the lower hose, and exit the top into the radiator.
