Default any issues removing passenger front seat?

I need a little more room to haul a few things. Looks like there is just one torxe bit holding on the seatbelt a 4 bolts holding the seat in place. Any other issues I need to be aware of when removing the passenger seat?

Does your seat have an electrical connector underneath for a side air bag/occupant sensor?
If so, you need to disconnect the battery negative terminal to allow the air bag capacitor to deplete, BEFORE you disconnect the plug.

Default seat removal

I needed all the torque I could muster. I do believe the bolts have some thread sealant on them from the factory. Slow steady pressure and they'll come loose.

There is a generous amount of Loctite on the bolts securing the seat to the floor and also on the bolts securing the seatbelts. I used a 1/2" drive breaker bar and the handle from a jack on the end of it to give me hella leverage. Came out like butter.

I'd recommend on install to apply blue loctite to the threads and torque to recommended settings. I can't remember off hand but I want to say 150 ft lbs.
