I have an '09 and have thought of upgrading my nav system. Has anybody done this and was it worth it?

Default navigation update

I did the update and found no notable difference. It seems I spent a few hundred on nothing.

I have a 2008 Nitro with Nav system and have not updated it. I have not had any issues so far with out of date maps.
Hope this helps.

For the most part, it's only worthwhile to update the map database if there has been a lot of road construction in your area. Also, if you plan on going on any long distance road trips.

Another consideration is the date of your current database. For example, one that is only a year old as compared to one that is several years old.

Don't waste your money. I updated mine and there was no change. Even new roads in my area were not updated. I could see upgrading if the cost was reasonable but at $200 its a rip off.
