Default Anyone Eles Having Problems !!!

HELLO FELLO JK FRIENDS. SO, HOW'S YOUR NEW JEEP TREATING YOU? I'VE HAD SOME PROBLEMS COME UP, SO IM INTRESTED TO HEAR IF ANYONE ELES HAS HAD THE SAME TYPE OF THINGS HAPPING TO THEM. HERE THEY ARE:

- DRIVERS SIDE DOOR LOCK ONLY WORKS SOMETIMES.

- PLASTIC PANEL AROUND THE STEERING WHEEL IS FALLING OFF.

- MOTOR SHUT OFF, AND TURNED IT SELF RIGHT BACK ON @ 25 MPH.

- RPM'S STICK SOMETIMES. (LIKE BEING IN NUTRAL WITH YOUR FOOT ON THE GAS @ 4000 RPM'S)

- THE BATTERY LIGHT HAS COME ON TWICE NOW.

THIS IS THE FIRST JEEP I'VE EVER OWNED. I COULDN'T WAIT FOR THE 2007 TO COME OUT SO I COULD BUY ONE. I TUGGED IT THINKING ABOUT ALL THE COOL STUFF I WHOULD DO TO MY NEW JEEP! NOW I WONDER, MABE IT'S JUST ANOTHER SIGN OF THE TIMES FOR OUR COUNTRY. JEEP GOT US THROUGH WORLD WAR TWO. JEEP WAS AMERICAN. OWNING A JEEP MADE A STATEMENT. WHATS NEXT? HERE'S THE KICKER TO THE WHOLE STORY. MY JEEP ONLY HAS 2,600 MILES, THATS RIGHT. KINDA WISHING I NEVER SOLD MY TACOMA, IT HAD 200,000 MILES AND TREATED ME MUCH NICER. THE END

Sorry to hear that, JK-JUNKIE... especially since you're yelling at everyone with ALL CAPS. Sounds like you got a JUNKIE-JK... you must have had it into the dealership, seeing as how it's under warranty: what's the dealership told you?

sounds like its all minor issues, take it in..

the RPMS sticking sounds like the live wire deal, they all hold rpms for a half second or two when you let of the gas.

Please dont type with caps locked... Its very hard to read.

I haven't had any of these problems and I have 4900 on my JK now.

Definetly take it to the dealer as soon as possible to fix these before they get to the point of loosing your JK for a week to fix all of the stuff.

Don't loose the faith, it is a new vehicle and it should have a couple of quirks.

Don't know about the plastic falling off, but a lot of the symptoms sound like they could be fixed by the November TSB. Check your build date, print out the TSB and go to the service dept.

My JK has about 7000 miles on it and I've been loving every minute of it!

The dealer had to replace the clock spring sensor in the steering column to make the traction light turn off. Stalled once going down the road. Other than that, it has been ok.

I have had some of the same. Radio going out when windows go up, stalling, tsb supposedly took care of that. also had wipers, blinkers, and fogs go out and lights stayed on. dealer took care of that. instrument cluster.

Default Engine Software TSB

JK-JUNKIE -

There is a TSB out to flash the engine controller to fix the battery light. Definitely go get it flashed.
