Default Anyone have axle seal problems ??

Just got a call back from service and I indeed had an axel seal go bad, anyone else have any issues so far ?? I'm in an 08 with only 6k on it..

The dealer is going to fix it under warranty but they made a point of mentioning that the bumper and winches extra weight could have contributed to the seal failure.........I say BS but they are fixing it free so I didn't push the issue, plus I got a really bitch'in mini van with >100K on it as a dealer loaner....

They also said if there is a "next" time it may not be warrantied.....

I'll have to keep an eye on it, funny how they had to order the seal, the fact its not in stock may be a red flag as well.........

My front drivers side went bad at 8000 miles on my 08 Stock rubi. I noticed a small leak on the Garage floor, and took it in. They fixed it under warranty without any questions.

If I were you I would remind the idiot that made that statement, If that were the case Mopar would not be selling bumpers and winches designed for the JK.

Add me to the list. RF axle on my 07 is leaking. Also got the squeaky pinion
seal/slinger issue. Waiting on parts.
