auto door lock issue started a while back when my neg battery cable was loose. the key fob will lock all doors but unlock only driver door. driver door switch will only unlock driver door and sometimes rear driver's side pass door. The front pass door switch will unlock that door and the rear pass one.

i brought it to the dealer and they say they cant find the problem. i have a extended warranty so should be covered after i pay $100.00 . but they say they need another hour to figure it out. any one have a clue

well after a few days at the dealer it is fixed. they stated that they found corrosion TIPM. They cleaned it and it still didnt work. So they replaced it and it works . thank god for extended warranty cost me $100. If i didnt have it well it would have been $746.

 

That's a cheap price for the TIPM, my ex-stealership told me it was a $2500 part when they replaced mine under warranty.

 

Wow! That make me happy I had the warranty

 

The normal retail price for a new JK TIPM is about $250. (When you can get one.)

 

Ok this is happening to me. How do I replace the tipm?
