Default Auto start went on the fritz today

I know this is superficial but for the money I spent everything should work. When I first got my Rubi the auto start stopped working and the dealer "fixed" it (they just bypassed the hood sensor with another wire ) Today it started acting up and now won't work at all, and I have a feeling it has to do with their Jerry rig because my TL harness is next to it and I was playing with it yesterday night and this morning the auto start was messed up. So I'm gonna look tomorrow if anyone in south Jersey with electrical knowledge of the JK would like to help let meet know please. Thanks

Were you low on gas? It won't start if you are. Just a thought.

No, full tank and if it was low it would still start then shut off when gas light turns on... same with check engine light, and I slammed every door to make sure they're all closed tight
I think it's gonna be a jeep thing..... a loose wire lol damn jeep thing lol

I just had this installed two days ago. If the doors aren't completely shut it won't auto start. Also I think you could turn it on and off twice remotely without having to insert the key to reset the cycle.

Yes I am aware of these features. I've tried everything including disconnecting the doors all together and still nothing. Sometimes it will beep twice but not start sometimes it starts sometimes it shuts off sometimes it don't. There's a bad sensor somewhere. And yes I replaced my keys battery a month or two ago, and I have a second key I tried and that didn't work. Went over the jerry rigged wiring the dealer did and couldn't find anything wrong with it so I made an appt with the dealer :thumbdown:let them fix it
