Yesterday I noticed that when I started my jk there was like a burning smell. Then I checked the engine oil and was fine but the trans was a whole quart low of fluid. No leaks that I can see. Anyone have an idea of what the problem is????

Where on the stick did it read?

Did you give it time to reach operating temp before you checked the transmission fluid level? If not, it will be low on the stick.

I don't think anyone has reported loss of automatic transmission fluid without it being a leak.
If the fluid you saw on the stick is still a good color, and doesn't smell burnt, there only two possibilities:
It was low all along
There is a leak you haven't seen

Before you top it off, drive for 10 minutes or so, and check it again.

Check the transmission cooler lines. Mine were just replaced last week.

Umm, what they said and also check it while in neutral, tends to show lower if in park. Unless you already did that.

Yes I checked it while it was in neutral and it was still low. So I've got no idea what caused it?

Could that cause it to be low?
