Been having a weird trans problem the last few days. I noticed that occasionally, when I let off the gas to stop, the trans grabs first for a couple seconds then releases. It's as if I reached down and threw it into 1st manually. Fells like the TQ Converter is locking as the Jeep slows down. Anyone else here experience this? Any thoughts?

 

I was feeling the same thing then I disabled the hill assist option and now I can coast to a stop without the tranny feeling like it is braking the vehicle for me.

 

Check me if I'm wrong, but I don't think my '09 has that feature.

 

I just checked and saw that other 2009 owners were talking about having it so check out "Hill assist" thru the search button...
