Default auto trans shift kit ????

has anybody found a shift kit for thr jk? or is it controlled by the computer like the F150? does the Jett chip do anything to modify the shift ? and what model trans is it?

good question, i doubt anything soon as not too many minivan owners want a shift kit! you can always manually shift/lock in gear, not quite the same thing as a shift kit but does help. This is one of the benefits of a shift kit and why i put them in other autos ive owned, this slushbox would not help that much in my opinion, you not drag racing it.

i would appreciate a good crisp shft as i pull a boat ...my 85 cj had a shift kit and it would bark 33's

in older non-computer controlled transmissions...these kits made the shifts harder and faster...reduces heat on the transmission and wear on the internal bands.
