Default Automatic Car Washes

I just purchased a 2010 Wrangler 4 Door Sport w/ soft top. Is there any problems with running it thru an automatic car wash?

Thanks for any comments you might have.

No, may leak a little but it will not hurt the top. I run mine through all the time.

No problems with them for me either (2dr w/softtop). Did bend my radio antenna though.

I run mine through all the time without any problems, except when it grabs my antenna and slaps it against the side of my Jeep. I havent noticed any chips or anything yet but it doesnt sound very good (usually forget until I am already in and getting pushed along by the carwash belt).
I do notice that if my bumpers and flares are very dirty they dont get very clean. My rims are also not very clean and I have to go home and scrub them. Of course I am very anal and cant stand for my Jeep to be dirty unles I am on the trail.

I thought I may have read something in the manual that said it wasn't recommended for a soft top, but I go to the diy type washes and get a better clean for the money I spend, though I've recently come to terms and not mind the dirt or mud so much

I've run mine through once or twice. Now I just wash my Jeep by hand. The top was o.k., but I'm too cheap to pay $7 to $20 for an auto car wash.

I've run mine through a touchless numerous times and never a problem. I am anal also and never run my vehicles with brushes or hanging "cleaners". I was a couple behind a very dirty truck many years ago and my hood and one side was scratched (swirl marks). I would rather have it slightly dirty looking than than scratched by a car wash. If it gets scratched it will be by me! In Chi town, when the weathers nice and it's an odd numbered day, I do it myself.
