Ronjenx is being nice he didn't tell you the whole story of what could happen because of the cooler is so inefficient. Well if he won't I won't either.

But all I can say is it will scare you into getting an AUX cooler !

Here are pics of the OEM auto transmission cooler as JKs come from factory here.

Provided that your transmission oil level is correct - this cooler has proven to be efficient even under our VERY hot days under sustained driving in severe soft sand and across high dunes (under full load).

Does it look like what you have ?

That cooler looks smaller than mine. Mine is almost as big as my radiator and looks twice the size of the one in the pics. I will take my grill off and take some pics today for y'all to see. Thanks

Than yours is probably none other than your A/C condenser .
I have not heard of any JKs in the US that came with OEM , factory installed, auto trans coolers.

But, please... do take pics.

All automatic JK's have a factory installed transmission cooler.
It's the very small lower portion of the A/C condenser/transmission cooler assembly.
Yours has a bigger aux cooler because the regular cooler is inadequate, especially where you live.

It would be interesting to know if your aux cooler is plumbed in series with the regular one, or is the regular one bypassed.
Look at your A/C condenser, if you have one, and see if there are two lines connected to the very bottom of it.

Are there unused fittings on the bottom the the A/C condenser, then?
