Does the X have the same axle splines as a Rubicon?

 

only in the rear 44 IF you have the factory locker; 32 spline, same as the Rubi.

 

remember the axle shafts on a rubi are not the same lengths as the Unlimited or Sahara. The Dana 44 on the rear is off center so one side is 1 inch shorter and the other side is 1 inch longer from what I've read and have been told. As for the rear on a X I believe they are a 30 spline not a 32 but I have not taken mine out to check.
