Default Back seats tilted

Was wondering if anyone has heard of a way to get the back seats to tilt back. The back seats are very uncomfortable and would be better if they could tilt. I. Checked the search function.

Thanks

That's a great writeup, but it only keeps the seats in a slightly more tilted FIXED position, not adjustable.

That might be the answer the OP was looking for, but I read it as looking for a way to make the rear seats tilt back similar as the front bucket seats.

I haven't seen a write-up done that makes them adjustable. Would be nice though.

Me neither and I agree it would be nice. I don't think they could, though, since the locking mechanism is there for it to be upright.

It's possible but i think you'd have to install a completely different seat to make it legal and for it to be safe in a crash.
It could also be good to be able to slide the seat back when only carrying passengers for extra leg room like an old nissan bench seat.

Default retro fit adjustable rear seats?

Does any one know if the adjustable rear seats from a Jeep Compass can be retro fitted into the JKU wrangler?

Others have mounted two front JK buckets in the rear of an Unlimited using the Mastercraft brackets.
There is a write up on this forum. They are reclining but don't fold flat.
