Backup Light
I searched on this topic but hadn't seen anything more current than 2011, so here goes. The reverse light in the OEM tail light is laughable when you really need to light up the space behind you. Has anyone found a bulb replacement that is brighter than the standard 3057/3157 incandescent? I don't want to have to install a $300 lighting system just to do the job the OEM bulb should do in the first place. And I don't want to cook the plastic light housing with an unsafe bulb either.
Thanks in advance!

Walmart driving lights into the housings. Cost about 20 bucks I think.

I popped in a set of Amazon.com: 2Pcs Aaron High Power White 80W 3157 XB-D Cree LED Light Bulbs Super Bright for Brake Backup Tail Reverse Turn Signal Lights: Automotive bulb replacements, they are brighter then the stock headlights. I also swapped my headlight bulbs out with an $80 HiD kit. I can now see at night, in drive and reverse.
