Default Is this bad?

Just noticed this on my rear driveshaft. I only have a 2.5 teraflex budget boost, which is only 2" in the rear. It looks like the rubber boot is slipping out from the clamp

Is this level ground? That angle looks harsh!

My garage floor so it's leaning to the passenger side some but for the most part level. I only have a 2" puck in rear! The full 2.5 is in the front

Looks ok to me -- I mean, aside from the clamp being where it is. I'd just go ahead and fix the clamp and see how it does. It's not losing grease, so should still be good to go.

that drive shaft looks like a rust bucket....you should brush it off and rustoleum it or something similar. I cover mine with a spray of diesel and oil mix from time to time it works a treat.....

This is a constant battle when you live on the north coast of OHIO. By the following winter, it will return to the same rusty appearance.

sorta same thing here, especially since i'm constantly driving over north european salted/gritted roads (UK-France) The diesel/oil mix with a spritzer from time to time really works (stinks for a few hours) but really protects the metal, doesn't modify or crack the rubber components and keeps bolts etc from completly seizing.
