Default Is this bad?

So i noticed this the other day...

this is the hinge on my rear seat. pic shown is with the seat in the folded down position. its the left side seat, the smaller of the two. all the other hinges look like the one next to it, on the right, which i believe are case hardened steel.

any opinions?

my recommendation would be take it to the dealer and tell them you want a whole new seat installed, as you are concerned about safety. JK's have rust protection for 100k miles i believe this should be a no brainer for the dealer. that is not normal and a rusted seat mount will be a concern eventually.
