BAS/ESP light came on

BAS/ESP light came on
I don't know if it was a coinidence or not but the day I changed my rear diif oil to synthetic gear oil, later that day the BAS/ESP light came on when I was pulling my boat home from the lake. Later that evening when I drove her the light was not on. I did add 3.4 oz of friction modifier due to the LSD. Any thoughts?

hey mine came on here a while back. I got in it to leave and that light came on. Of course I didn't know what it was so i looked it up in the manual. I thought i was going straight to the dealership. I sat there a minute turned it off then back on and it was gone. I don't know if that helps any.

There is a TSB flash for this. Mine came on rarely at first, but after 6 months it came on weekly or so. It would stay on for 2-3 startups, then go out. TSB 2-3 weeks ago, and hasn't happened any more (knock wood).

this was the prelude to the "stall bug" on mine.
About a week before, the BAS light tit up driving down a straight road. I shut it off and restarted... it was still there, but went off after a while.

I had the stall bug several times before the BAS/ESP light ever came on. I don't think they are related. I will have to check that TSB out. Is it listed on the projectjk site like the others?
Will this TSB included changes that other TSB's held? I haven't had any flashes since new in early November and just wonder if I should take a list in or if the newest flash has all the previous ones included?

BAS/ESP Light Fix
I had my BAS/ESP lights stay on constantly for a month or two. If they went out they would come back on going around turn. So my thought was the Flash too...Took it to the dealer. They Flashed SAS and it didn't work. They then replaced "CLOCKSPRING/STEERING COLUMN MODULE/ANGLE SENSOR" to units in the steering column. Have not had the problem since.
