Default Bed solutions

Hey guys I'm going to have to be sleeping in my jku (4 door) for a few nights and I like to get a good nights sleep. Anyone come up with cheap, clever, easy ways to put down the back seat and make a comfortable bed back there? Is there a perfect size blow up mattress or anything? Love to get some pictures and comments on this.

Well, fancy people can fit a Twin size blow up mattress quite comfortably back there. I sleep on my sleeping bag quite often and use a laundry sack of clothes as a pillow and "blanket".

Also a Twin Size dorm mattress fits beautifully as well. Jut gotta slide front seats forwards as the beds are Long Twins.

College kid here.

Alright thanks. I didn't want to buy the blow up mattress and have it not fit. This is perfect. Yup I'm in college too. Definitely sleep back there pretty often ha.

If you looking for a nice cheap solution,

I have your average $20 camping pad... I laid down the cargo bag for the freedom panels in between the folded seats to even out that gap. You can buy a pillow or get creative... If you like some tilt in the head area simply place some shorts between the folded seats till your comfortable... I have slept countless nights there and works beyond perfect for me... And when your all done it'll all roll up into a small pack you can store in the freedom panel cargo bag

Cheers

I just pile up lots of blankets in the back. I also use one to stuff in the crevice at the bottom of the rear seats when they're folded down. Stuff something at the top between the front seats and folded down rear seats, too. It'll get you another few inches of stretching out room. I'm 6'1" so I can't stretch too much, but that extra few inches helps.

I made these inserts so my dog would not fall into the footwells. We have a 2 door, with the seat permanently removed for the mutt.
It sure stops anything from falling in the footwells.
