I made these inserts so my dog would not fall into the footwells. We have a 2 door, with the seat permanently removed for the mutt.
It sure stops anything from falling in the footwells.
Love it. I need to do that. Do u have the dimensions ?

I posted this a few months ago.

Coleman makes a double size mattress that is made for SUVs; the first chamber is 5' long and fits perfectly in the back of the JKU. The second chamber fills in the spaces just behind the seats. I'm just under 6' and it works fine for me.
I use this setup every time I go camping; much better, quieter, warmer than sleeping in a tent.

You can get it through Amazon for about $30.

I cut out a sheet of plywood that fits the back with seats folded. I throw a Coleman twin on it and load my cargo and bags to the side. I alo bring extra blankets to hang from the bars to block the light. I did this for over a week driving cross country and exploring.

Twin mattress all the way. Bought the mattress for 20 and pump for 10. When you put it back there I put the fill part out the tailgate as you inflate it will stick out just a bit. Under inflate by a bit, then close the tailgate for the right pressure. A little trial and error involved! I camp in this every summer!

My mattress is wrapped in a sheet. Cheers!

Oh yeah, a tip for the 4 door....

If you slide the front seats all the way forward when putting the rear seats down, the headrests will drop into the foot wells.
