Default bent frame?!!! someone please help

i'm not sure if this is actually part of the frame or if this is just part of the skid plate mounts?

it clearly looks bent, if this is hindering anything can i get a new one? or go to a junk yard and get one?
if anybody has had experience with this or knows anything about it, PLEASE help!!!

The first pic looks like your fuel tank skid, so no worries there. It's only bad if you dent the tank itself, but even then is not a huge worry unless you puncture it. The second pic looks the same just diff angle. The 3rd pic is your exhaust pipe and shouldn't be an issue. To escape future beatings on it, I would either look into a an after market skid plate or make your own.. As for the frame, it would take a hell of an accident or wheeling exourience to bend it. I've got dents all over my undercarriage from rock gardens...

i guess more of where i am talking about is on the last 2 pics where the rust line is. its the bar that runs across the undercarriage that the skid plates seem to bolt onto. its right behind the exhaust

Ahh, I wouldn't worry to much about it. It looks like a cross member. My frame rails have taken a beating as most others who play on rocks... Does it feel different while driving?

Transmission/t-case cross member. Nothing to worry about. I take mine off once a year and beat it straight with a hammer. Somebody makes an aftermarket replacement but it's stupid money.

If youre talking about what that skid bolts onto then dont worry about it. Like someone said before, its the crossmember which is removeable/replaceable/upgradeable. If it ever bends really far up or snaps in half then you have a problem.

thanks everyone for the help.
i was thinking about taking all my skids off and getting all the mud out of them along with the grass. i have noticed looking down the drain holes inside i see mud and some built up grass and such.

If you do take it off to bang out the dents and clean it you will need to use a floor jack or something to support the transmission.

I think the skid holds up the gas tank, so if you remove it expect your tank to drop down.
