Default Bent swaybar link

Hey gang-

One of my sway bar links is bent a bit, but not too badly. Is it good or a bad idea to remove it, bang it back into shape with a hammer and reinstall it? I am wondering what everyone's opinions are on this...will it make the sway bar link more susceptible to bend again and even more or is it a plausible fix. If not, I will just order a new one or maybe some quick discos. Or should I just leave it as is...it is bent about a quarter inch from being straight Thanks for your advice.

Sounds like an excellent excuse to get some quick discos.

Bend the other one to match.

Seriously, it isn't going to hurt anything that it is bent, but a set of discos is the way to go.

It'll only get weaker the more you bend it.... and something tells me that swaybar links are supposed to be a rigid part...

Upgrade vote from me too!

PS: Is it the front or the rear???

Sometimes our For Sale section is worth its weight in gold....sway bar links that is:

For $10, I'd jump on that!
