Default Best Place for Jacking

Me and my GF are heading over to Philly for Thanksgiving, and since we won't be taking my JK, I was going to bedline my wheels tomorrow after work and let them dry for a few days before I get back and throw them back on. I painted my spare a while ago, and it looks good, but I didn't have time to be able to do the rest and not have the Jeep for a couple of days. (Doing them one at a time by rotating the spare through was a possibility, but I didn't want to look ridiculous with unmatching wheels for a week) I have jack stands, but I was just wondering where the best place to put them are. Under the axles or on the frame rails?

Thanks for the help!

Either would work. But Scott has a good point about leaving the axles "hanging".

Not sure why, but I would automatically put the jack stands under the axles if I were 1) removing all four wheels and 2) leaving it for a few days. Won't have to lift it as far.

And it looks like the survey says under the axles. I hadn't thought about the axles hanging there and possibly stretching anything out for a few days. I'll try to remember to grab some pics along the way, and post em up here after.

Thanks for the help.

Thats where I normally keep them when they're not holding up the jeep.

I replied the first time without realizing what I titled the thread ... I had thought you were talking about the best place to keep the jack stands.
