I use Simple Green. Let it sit for like 5 minutes and hose it off...comes off really easy for me

be carefull with simple green as it can eat alumnum if left on to long. I just use regular car wash soap and a non scratching scotch brite kitchen sponge. Like 2$ for three of them.

the bm wheel/tire cleaner you have is a good and safe product. as far as the brake dust get a good clear coat wheel cleaner and do the wheels up.

I wash my wheels never less than twice a month to keep up on it, the front of the rimes stay looking great, at the 3rd 4000 mile rotation (16k miles), I did it in the parking lot of a car wash with a chamille (sp?) wash mitt and a brush, and scrubbed all that crap off the back of the rims one at a time.

Soap, water and a wheel/tire brush is all I use. My GF's old Liberty was really bad about dusting up the front wheels.

this may sound like a rookie question, but do you have to worry about the backside of the rims? the part you can't see? that looks nasty too but do i need to worry about in there as well?
