Default Bestop Lockbox Problem

My wife bought me an underseat Bestop lockbox. Got in installed on my '12 JKU. Worked great for 3 days. Now it won't slide open when I turn the key. Has this happened to anyone else?

I would've bought the Tuffy if I bought it myself but it was a surprise from my awesome wife.

Are you sure you are unlocking it all the way and does it open at all , I have had it for 8 months use it atleast 4 times a day and never has a issue , I did notice the key is a little finikie it will turn like it is all the way but it is not a retry and it opens

On mine I have to push in on the drawer and turn the key or it won't open. The key will not turn all the way to disengage the lock otherwise.

I think you might not be turning it all the way if it's not opening! But if it is opening but the drawer won't slide out then you might have gotten something stuck on the rail! Check it and if there is no obstruction of any kind try some wd40 on rails

Thanks for the help. Yes, it seems suddenly that I can't get the key to slide all the way in. Have no idea why

The lock itself is junk. I had this problem once. Now it seems to work fine.

Try a quick spray of wd-40 in the key hole.
