Default BFGoodrich AT VS. ProComp AT

I am wondering if anyone has any practical experience in running BFGoodrich TA KO's and ProComp Xtreme AT's? What are you opinons of each in comparison to the other?

I will be upgrading from stock tires and steel rims to alloy and 265 /70 R17 tires. I've always ran BFGoodrich AT's on my '93 cherokee and have been pleased with 3-4 sets of them, but the cherokee is going away.

I like the look of the ProComps but would like to maintain the most cost efficient and quiet tire since I'll do a lot more city/highway driving than offroading. The cost difference is only $8-10 per tire but I dont want to destroy my gas efficiency either. Any comments would be appreciated.

I've never owned a set of Pro Comps, but I have had several sets of BFG AT KO's. I've always been very pleased with them except for one set that always had a weird vibration. I've easily been able to get 60k miles out of every set I've owned. I currently have about 45K miles on the set on our JKU and they appear to be only about half way worn. Granted, I am doing a five tire rotation but I'm still amazed at the amount of tread left.
