So like many others have experienced, I got in my Jeep and turned the key and everything went crazy. Lights cutting off and on, windshield wipers turning, all the lights on the cluster going crazy, the usual Jeep problem. So I started with my battery and cleaned everything. Didn't fix it. But because a week ago my battery went dead after sitting just a few days, I thought I would test it. So I unhooked the battery and hooked a jumper box straight to the cables. Fired up and the problem went away. So I put a new battery in. Problem came back. So I changed the battery terminals on the cables. Still a no go. But If I pull the cables back off the new battery with new terminal leads and hook them to the cables on the old jumper box, everything works fine. WTF!!! Please tell me what the heck is going on before I have to start drinking. My nerves are shot.
