Default Black Hole Front of dash how do I get my Screw driver back

any one lost anything in the black hole in at the front of the dash where it meets the window. is there an easy way to remove the thin part of the dash to get my tools back.

any help would be appreciated.

Not really but you can remove the side covers of the dash and look around in there

I used a coat hanger and a telescoping magnet standing on the rocker looking thru the windshield from the outside. If that doesn't work try folding the windshield down. After that fiasco I put a piece of half inch foam pipe wrap cut to length in the black hole.

Its called the black hole for a reason, once its in there its automatically gone to another demension.

don't worry its still in a Jeep just another demension.

Take the time to lower your windshield. I noticed when I installed my OR-Fab cage when you fold down the windshield it reveals most of the abyss. (side note: now it is a 5 minute job to lower the windshield w/the Or-Fab set up) Not a quick job with the factory hardware

I,m not sure but when i took my glove box out for wireing purposes i found a pack of cigs and 20 bucks.
