Default Blacked Out Antenna

Has anyone Plasti Dipped ( or spray painted ) your antenna? I want my black but didn't know how it would affect the AM/ FM or the Sirius.

Cut mine down to about 10", pull the ball off the top, chop the antenna then put the ball back on and hammer it tight. The spray paint it! Haven't had any trouble other than paint needing retouching..

The Shrink Tubing sounds like a good idea. If it is a problem, a razor knife solves the problem.

Bought one off them and it looks great no problems. Better option then having to spend all the time painting it plus more of a durable option all for only 16-22 bucks depending on what you go with.
