mine was doing exactly what you mentioned, it turned out to be the solenoid, the tech at the dealer swaped a solenoid with another rubi that was on the lot, and it worked right away. I hope this helps

I just took mine in, both front and rear were blinking continuously.

They looked at it, had to talk to Chrysler Engineers, then told me the control module needed replacement?

Finally they called to say that it should be fine now but the indicators are still blinking, apparently "they" are working on an update for this that is not available yet. . . . Not sure what to believe.

Hope to pick it up tomorrow and test it out.

Has the locker worked at all since the cover was changed? Some claim the SOLID covers need some grinding to prevent this problem.

Just a thought

Default Sensor malfunction

I've had this problem before....twice. Each time it's the sensor and the dealership fixes it in one day. It's getting pretty old even though it's a quick fix. It's one of things that make me feel better about not getting a Rubicon. I don't think anyone with Eaton or OX ever have problems like this. Also, usually when the rear locker fails the sway bar disconnect sensor goes haywire too. Good luck.

Ok, I got the rig back.

Went to test it out and the front works great, very quick to respond. The rear indicator takes alot longer but it does eventually engage and disengage with a much more blinking in between. This is an Jan 10th 2007 build but it is new to me. Are the lights supposed to turn solid quickly?

The repair sheet says they replaced the Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM).
