Default Blower motor and wipers slow down when ESP kicks in.

I was driving in some deep snow today and any time my Traction control kicked in my blower motor (which was on high) and my wipers would slow down for around 10 seconds. Does this happen to anyone else? 09 JKU.

The ABS motor has quite a bit of draw on the electrical system. Totally norm if alot of other accessories are running like defrost , wipers etc.

There is a potential for a large draw. The motor and valves are protected with 30 and 40 amp fuses.

I wouldn't think it's normal for the blower and wipers to slow, though. I know it doesn't happen on mine.

I'd be looking for a bad battery, or some bad grounding points.

It's definitely not the battery. I just replaced my yellow top with a brand new odyssey. It could be that my serpentine was slipping from powder packing under the hood.. Are there ground points that I can oversize with 1 or 0 gauge?

The best ground improvements are from an alternator mount bolt to the battery negative terminal, and from the body to the negative terminal.
