Noxian,
That issue was only on the 2011 vehicles with the RES, REQ, RHB or RBZ radios and built prior to 6-1-2011 and the TSB update last year cured that issue.
For the MY12 vehicles, (with the same radios listed above) there is an enhancement TSB update that was released a couple months back. It's supported vehicle build date is prior to 1-1-2012. So the vehicle above that was built in March 2012 would have the most current SW in it.

Harman had an update for their radios last year also and I believe they had another update for the 2012 vehicles earlier this year. I believe the current SW version for the Harman radios is 2.120.

I bet you if you hit the lock button on your iphone while its playing music the problem goes away.

what radio do you have? I would guess the 730 series radios, because my iPhone 4 & 4S both play fine with my 430N (Mitsubishi radio).

But lately it plays them at 2x or 3x speed. ANyone else experience this? Ive gone thru the menu settings and cant seem to find anything that would be capable of adjusting that, and the iphone plays normally by itself and through my BT headset when at home. Its just in the jeep that it speeds the songs up.

The upshot is that Im listening to 3 times as much music as the rest of the world, so that at the end of hte day, I have like an hour more leisure time than the rest of you.

My u connect did this with my iphone as well (2011). What I found out by trial and error is that if the iphone screen is lit up, the music does the fast forward sound. So I just black out the iphone screen with the top button. Seems to work correctly when I do that for some stupid reason.

The Uconnect SW update will actually cure the issue. The TSB # is 08-019-12 and this is a revised TSB from the one that was out last year. TSB# 08-036-11, the only difference is in some of the wording, there is no difference in the SW section.
