Default Boat Trailer Question

I have a 28 foot performance catamaran boat with aluminum trailer that weighs approx 5500 lbs with the majority of the weight on the back tandem axles of the trailer. The whole thing on trailer is 33 feet in lenght. I know that the Jeep Sahara 4 door has weight limitations on trailering but I live approx 2 miles from boat ramp through residential steets. I installed a class 3 trailer hitch on my 4dr Sahara 4wd wrangler. I have a dodge durango with the 5.7L Hemi but it is only 2wd. The boat ramp has a normal slope to it and is grooved. I am wondering if i can "creep" to the boat ramp with the boat and use the 4wd HIGH Jeep to lauch and pull the boat out of the water if the wife has the durango doing other stuff. What are your thoughts? Can it be done safely? Should I change the trailer hitch hardware to grade 8 bolts. This boat will never see the highway using the Jeep. Thanks, Dave
