I know this has been posted before but can not find it. Anyone know or have a list of all parts and sizes needed to install the factory side steps on a 2008 JKU sport. I replaced mine when I installed the lift. Sold the side steps but sometime between the removal and the time he bought the steps the bolts have been misplaced somewhere. Called Chrysler and they want like $50 for the kit. I would think you could get the required bolts and other pieces at a loval hardware/fastner store. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance....

 

I just installed some on my 2011 JKU that came off of a 2007 Sahara last week. Stealership told me to use 8mm X 1.25 but I used an 10mm X 1.25 with a washer. Any of these should work fine. Bought them @ Auto Zone for around $12 bucks bolts & watchers. Hope this help.

 

I just picked up a used set today. It had extra hardware. I may have what you need. I'll know tomorrow and/or I can get the size and pitch needed and post it.

 

thanks guys for the info...let me know if you have what i am neding...if not i will have my buddy hit up autozone for the bolts...pretty much gave them to him anyway
