Angry Brake fluid leak.

Hi all new to the board ..
2010 unlimited rubicon. I need to know the torq spec for the banjo bolts
on the front calipers front left was leaking today bolt is kind of loose and i dont want to go to the dealer for it thanks......

I'd say as tight as you can get it by hand then about 30*degrees. Just a estimation, I hardly torque anything unless it's a vital component. Just what happens when you do it for a living, get that "calibrated elbow" lol.

Make sure you have sealing rings on both sides of the fitting as well.

Tighten it by hand, then go to 23ft/lb, I'm curious to how close it is to 30*

23' LBS sounds good thanks. Don't know about 30* it is not on my torq wrench

it is if its a digital one by snap-on or mac. or you can use a torque angle gage.

My brakes are a vital component! But I'm just a little anal and I torque almost everything. I'm also a weakie so hand tight for me may not keep anything on.

If you had a brake fluid leak, you may want to bleed that caliper too in an overabundance of caution. If fluid was coming out, air could have slipped in.

Truthfully, I wouldn't do anything with it. We pay good money for these things, let the stealership deal with it. Chances are if you play with the brake lines and can't get it to stop you are going to be footing the bill.
