Default Brake job

With 16,000 miles my dealers schedule maintenance guide says transfer case, diff oil and clean and lube caliper pins. Is lubing the caliper pins the only brake maintenance that needs to be done at these miles, what about cleaning the pistons or .....?? It seems that when i am braking coming to a gradual stop i can feel the abs brakes being applied more now. dont know how to explain it really but you can feel it in the braking every rotation, ike on-off-on -off when coming to a slow stop. I dont remember them doing it before so what do you think ? Going in for an oil change soon, but dont want to pay for them to just clean the calipers.?????What cha think?

do you think lubing the caliper pins will eliminate this?

Thinking.. You should never feel the ABS when braking, unless on snow or really wet streets and the tires break loose or start sliding. Sounds like warped rotors to me.

hope that's all the maintenance they need. I did an inspection for my brakes class at school and at 23k miles, I needed new rear pads, they were probably about 500 more miles from making noise. I've heard of others having similar issues with their JKs, some as low as 11k miles, others closer to 30k.

who rotates the tires? are they possibly over-torquing the lugs?

yea you only really feel it when coming to a crawling stop, it doesnt make noise like its abs but you can feel the brakes grabbing on and off.

Still sticking with my warped front rotors.. Over torque of lugs will not make wheels run out of balance... Only piss you off when you go to fix a flat or break/strip a stud.

over-torquing the lug nuts is a known cause of warped rotors
