I run Hawk pads front and rear. I really like how little brake dust they make

X2 on Hawk. I didn't pull the rear rotors when I did mine but was with Ronjenx when he did his rotors and pads 2 months ago. What a pita. The rotors were VERY difficult to remove due to the rust ridge on the e brake drum. Had to rotate using a pry bar. Rotate pull, rotate pull etc etc. If your rotors aren't warped or under the recommended thickness...leave them alone

Correct me if I'm wrong. Oem front pads are ceramic and rears are semi-metallic.

I was thinking leave the rotors run another set of breaks and by that time the rears will be done my front will be shot and thinking new rotors and brakes all around but I have to check rotor thickness

I would just get a quality set of ceramic pads and be done. Don't get the lifetime warranty pads, as they are very hard and wear the rotors down faster. The hawk pads aew great pads, but unless you just want to spend the money, they really aren't necessary. Just make sure your rotors are in spec and don't have deep grooves or major wear
