Default Braking, Pulling to the Left

I've had a problem for a while now that when I brake it causes the jeep to pull to the left. It's mostly when I brake hard and at any speed. Anyone have insight as to what's causing this?

Your caliper is most likely sticking. I had the same problem and replaced both front calipers. The stock ones have been known to fail. Mine went out around 50k miles but I've read some people had to replace them at even lower milage.

My wife had the same problem with her acura. Turned out her breaks were not worn evenly causing the pull.

Does your jeep pull to the left without braking?

What work have you done to the brakes? When was the last time the pads were changed? Inspected? How many miles on the Jeep? What are your tire pressures?

Changed the rear pads a year ago. Inspected the fronts in early fall and they were fine. I have 82k on the Jeep with 35lbs in the tires.

Well then your issue will probably be with the passenger side front brake caliper. Make sure the piston is not locked up or a bad pad on that side. That's where I would start. Hope that helps.
