Brand new Rubicon, need advice on removing scratches from plastic fenders
I just traded in my 2dr 08 Sahara for a 2014 Rubicon Unlimited. It's looks great with one exception: Two of the plastic fenders have noticable scratches on them. The dealer offered to swap them out with some fenders from a stock unit, but I'm hesitant to start swapping parts off my new Rubi. I know it's a Jeep and it's supposed to get used and scratched, but the reality is it isn't going to see much off road use. I only drive about 5k miles a year and it will mostly sit in my garage. Is there something I can do to get these looking a little better? The scatches aren't very deep, but they stand out against the texture of the plastic. Will a heat gun help at all? Or should I get the dealer to switch them out? Or would you just live with it? Thanks for any input
