Default Break-In Period

With my JK showing up later this week,... any recomendations on a break-in period before I take it off road or push it hard? Also any recomendations on early maintenance other than the recomended oil changes?

Wink Manual

Its not much of a break in... I gave it 750 miles before pushing mine too hard, but that is just me being overly cautious...

I think the manual says it only needs a 300 mile break in.

Have fun, and get us some pics when you go pick up your Jeep

Do a search on "Break-in". There's been a ton of opinions on the subject. Some say take it easy, some say go like a bat out of he!! There's enough opinions on the subject to thoroughly confuse you.

Yes, there are a lot of different opinions on this subject. Personally I just went with the manufacturer recommendation.
