Its shit like this thats freaking me out lately.....


Feel like I should sell my jeep, get a suzuki samuri or an old yj, and build it up perfectly......I'd still have money left over to get a new pickup (thank you recession) to tow it with....and use as a daily driver.....

Were you able to shift with what was left of the shifter shaft, or did you have to stay in 3rd and feather the clutch? It looks like there's a weld on the shaft in you picture...is it?
