Default Built-in Thermostat Stuck?

Has anyone seen the thermostat get stuck? Mine has registered the same temperature all day, even though its warmed up about 15 degrees from this morning when I first drove the JK. The compass still works fine...

I assume you're talking about the outside temperature the thermometer is reading? (Thermostats regulate temperatures.)

If so, then ours does that also. It takes a while for it to adjust. I can leave our 65 degree garage into 20 degree weather and it will be 20 minutes before it's reading the correct temperature. Our '05 Grand Cherokee was a lot faster to update.

I bow down to your superior vocabulary skills

Yes, I meant thermometer ;-)

The thermometer did reset this afternoon too on the way home from work. Was still kinda wierd though, normally its very responsive.

That seems odd to me, the thermometer in my Jk Rubi adjusts no problem, not instantly, but today i left my garage and it read 40 degrees, minutes later, a stable 24 degrees, which was the correct outside temp. Maybe it needs a flash??? i'm not sure. I know my MPG-meter used to adjust super slow.. it barely ever changed. After i got the TSB 1803606 (i think that was the number) which flashes the pcm, it adjusted much quicker... never paid attention to the thermometer before the flash, but maybe that's the problem. Good luck.

Speaking of TSB's, the brake recall is just a flash, correct? I have to take mine in for that one and was hoping it might clear this up along with that.
